Make a Statement With an Asymmetrical Table

One of the best conferences for commercial office design inspiration is the annual NeoCon. This year was no different: the StrongProject team observed the hottest trends in workplace colors, office furnishings, and design layouts. One trend which pushes its own boundaries year over year is the concept of asymmetry. Whether a desk, conference table, chair, or storage piece, angles and corners are reimagined through the skills of talented craftsmen.

We personally love asymmetrical tables for the conference room. A conference room is stereotyped into the mediocre picture of a rectangle table surrounded by standard task chairs. The CEO will probably sit at the “head” of the table, while a screen or board will positioned at the end. Why not change up the layout with a little challenging design? This table will refresh the creative potential within the room.

An executive office should be designed to stand out among the rest of the workplace. Think of it as a cherry on the top of a sundae: the perfect flourish without too much weighty pomp in its design. Something to take note of and appreciate. Enter the asymmetrical executive desk.

For work clusters or departments, a touchdown space is always key to maximizing productivity. Why not have a little fun with the space and introduce a new shape to the layout? With an asymmetrical working table, co-workers can sit, stand, or move around with ease.
