We knew we wanted modern,” said Jennifer Heil, President of Blue Yield. “But we didn't know what furniture was out there.”

Located in Aliso Viejo, Blue Yield is a forward-thinking auto finance firm that provides consumers with a nationwide, multi-lender network offering competitive interest rates and the broadest credit spectrum coverage available. Their office space needed to reflect the ease, transparency and simplicity with which consumers and partners can navigate business with the company, as well as reflect their bright corporate culture.

While most companies might feel daunted with a huge open area, we saw the 13,000 square feet of Blue Yield's open office space as an opportunity to create a vibrant community of employees and executives.

Inspired by the orange accent in Blue Yield's primary blue logo, we designed the color scheme to feel sunny and cheerful, extending beyond “kitchen fresh” to energize the open office layout with crisp white desks, orange ergonomic office chairs, and white and orange modular workstations with modern semi-opaque privacy dividers. Two different workstation designs were implemented to accompany different departmental groups as well as avoid the monotony of traditional cubicles.

The challenge of identifying private co-working and impromptu meeting spaces in a potentially bustling space was solved by strategically building a screened modular co-working area with rounded group seating and a work table.

Two conference areas, one small and one large, were uniquely coordinated to convey different atmospheres. We positioned the smaller conference room to parallel the same color palette and minimalist style , encouraging the same daily vitality and productivity vibe as the rest of the open layout. The second conference room gracefully transitioned off the main space with neutral tones, statement art pieces, transparent light installations and a larger meeting table that commands focus and promises professionalism and results. This was a great space for holding larger staff meetings and anchoring company morale.
