StrongProject is proud to have created an office transformation for Unitas Global. Our initial goal was to blend our contemporary office furniture designs with the antique beauty of the building. When it comes to balancing old and new designs, there is always a challenge—how do you preserve the integrity of a historic building, while helping to streamline the operations of a state-of-the-art business?
Housed in the old Crocker Bank building in Downtown Los Angeles, the Unitas Global office space is rich with history. In addition to the vault room preserved from the early 1900’s, the open office area also functioned as a former LAPD police headquarters. Complete with the original precinct door and intricate wood columns, we balanced the old and the new to create a free-flowing, open office plan that empowered employees to create extensive technological solutions using the latest and best in contemporary office furniture design. With 8,250 square feet to work with, StrongProject installed a high-functioning and luxurious office that celebrated the integrity of the building and enriched its history. In fact, you’ll notice that the old-world building interior blends flawlessly with StrongProject furniture that integrates technology and height adjustability for employee wellness and productivity.
